On the night of exhibition presenting I felt excited and nervous at the same time and surprisingly the first time presenting was easiest because in the second and third I messed up and forgot some information. I wonder if it was just because my parents were in the same room. If I could do exhibition again I would practice my script a little more and speak louder.
My favorite part of the whole exhibition experience was learning new interesting things like big horned sheep lambs, mountain goat kids as well as wolf grizzly, black bear and cougar cubs are not allowed to be rescued, rehabilitated and released in Alberta. I also learned that if an animal cannot be released they sometimes use it as a foster mother or foster father. My action plan is sending a petition to the minister of Alberta's environment to allow the rescue, rehabilitate and release of big horned sheep lambs, mountain goat kids, wolf, grizzly, black bear and cougar cubs. I also will collect birdseed to send to CWRS (Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society) and every kg of birdseed you donate you can enter to win a birdhouse. To make the donation of the birdseed I will make an announcement every day till June 2nd and announce the winner on June 5th. A piece of advice for next years exhibition group is to speak loud, memorize your presentation, breath deeply and follow "I not done until we're done".
